Feeling nervous about going back to school? Or work? Or an event?
There is a feeling in the air right now. The aroma of freshly sharpened pencils blended with the smell of newly purchased binders is igniting feelings of nostalgia, excitement and anticipation.
New clothes' tags are being snipped off and brand new white tennis shoes (that will only remain pristine for about a week) are making their debut.
It is the beginning of the school year.
For some, it is the best time of year -an opportunity to hang out with friends and to learn something new.
For others, this time of year is accompanied by dread and nervousness.
Will I fit in? Have I matured more than my friends? Will I still like my friends? Will they like me? Will I like my teachers? Will my grades be good enough to get into college?
As I have written about many times in the past, our energy can dictate the energy in a room.
We can set the tone and walk into known energy that offers us comfort and a welcomed feeling of acceptance and love.
That is what we going to do in this week’s meditation.
