Translating your challenges into blessings
When I was a child, every time something happened that was challenging or hard or unwanted, which growing up with an alcoholic father was quite often, I would pause and look deeper (Yes, even then I looked deeper- it is who I am) and I would explore and ask myself,
"What is God trying to teach me with this? What core lesson am I needing to learn here?
My hope was that if I could whittle the noise down to the clear lesson, the situation would go away faster.
The situation "going away" was always based on my heart shifting and changing.
Rarely, if ever, did the situation disappear before I learned the lesson.
God doesn't want to change our circumstances. He wants to change our hearts.
The Universe uses whatever situation it can to teach you how to love yourself deeper, value yourself more, and find the gratitude and appreciation for all the abundance that is in your life right here....right now.
So often, we get stuck in our story.
Days, months, sometimes years later, we find ourselves still complaining about that person who did us wrong or that situation at work that didn't go our way without realizing that it was never about that person or situation.
It was about us learning to understand what truly matters, learning to let go of our control and learning to love...others and most importantly ourselves.
It's never about what you're complaining about!
When we can trust the other person is doing the best they can, and that we are all imperfect, it allows us to welcome in compassion, acceptance and abundance.
It also lets us quit the complaining. A vibe that the Universe does not want to translate.
I have been on a major house declutter and recently came across coupon books that my daughters made when they were younger. Since there are no expiration dates on these coupons, I am going to cash them in just like my Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons that are good forever! :)
I came across this no complaining coupon and was so grateful to have found this one in particular!
Even when these girls were little, they understood how important it was not to complain.
It keeps us stuck in our story and repels abundance.
When we understand this, we can find the real lesson and begin to make lasting change.
This is how we translate our challenges into blessings.
When we choose to hear struggles, see challenges, and experience situations as curators of our souls rather than impediments to our lives, we finally grow and heal..
How are your blessings shifting and changing your life and heart?
Can you begin to translate your life differently?
