How I Used My Intuition To Find My Keys

I was working to get the center reopened, bringing in air filters and boxes of things and was walking back to my car, not entirely looking where I was going. I stepped down into the street, right into a pothole, and I fell hard. Since COVID, I no longer carry a purse. I carry my keys, small wallet and phone in my hands. Everything flew everywhere as I hit the ground. It was a straight up yard sale of my personal belongings on the street.

As I gathered myself while breathing though the newfound pain in my ankle, I found my wallet and phone but could not find my keys.

I looked in the box, around the street and sidewalk. They were no where to be found. I fell in front of a UPS truck and just as I gathered myself, the driver had returned and drove off. As he did so, I felt my insides saying, “Wait! My keys!” But ignoring my gut because...

What are the chances?

I spent the next 20 minutes retracing my steps, relooking for my keys in bushes and corners...nothing.

I finally had to call my husband and ask him to bring my extra car key down.

How could they have vanished?

I swore they were on the UPS truck. Like I often do, I kept seeing my guidance. I kept seeing a vision of the area just under the grill of the UPS truck, but how could they be there?

While standing on the corner, I got quiet and asked the Universe one last time (as if I didn’t already know) where my keys were.

The Universe answered, "Underneath the UPS grill."

Right then, I said out loud to the Universe, “How am I going to find the UPS truck again?”

As if it was scripted in a great feel-good movie, the UPS truck turned onto the street right in front of me. I started to hobble down the street, chasing him and waving my arms shouting, “Wait! Wait!”  He did not hear me so I watched which way he turned so I could follow him.

I was SURE my keys were there now! I had my sign.

I ran over to my husband and grabbed my key and hopped in my car, turned down the street and searched for the truck.

Found it, parked (on a street which typically has zero available parking) and started calling to him, “Excuse me! Excuse me!” Because he was making his way back to the truck and I didn’t want him leaving before I could hobble over there.

I explained what happened and asked if I could simply look at the front of his truck. We walked around the front of the truck together and in 1 second, he reached down, grabbed my keys and handed them back to me.

Here’s the image of the truck and my keys.

Listen to your intuition.

While you may not have had to chase down a UPS truck, my bet is that you’ve been in the grocery store and felt a nudge to buy vanilla and ignored it. Then two days later, you go to make cookies and realize you’re out. Or you’ve thought about a friend and then they call you or text you.

Listening to your intuition becomes a practice. Our intuition becomes stronger and clearer as our energy becomes stronger and clearer. Join me for this week's meditation, Improve Your Intuition,  as I share my daily practice of improving my own intuition.  Our intuition is our very best superpower. Begin to clear your energy system and determine how your intuition shows up for you and watch how much your life begins to simplify and flow. I can't wait to hear how this helps you!

Much love,
Erin
